Long Rein Success for Express

Butterby Express handled by Kayleigh Wilkinson secured first place in the senior long rein competition at the International Shetland Pony Games Show in Redefin in Germany over the weekend of the 26th and 27th July 2008

In his first competition Butterby Express excelled in his exhibition and all the hard work put in by Kayleigh paid off when the judges awarded them first prize.

By the next day temperatures had risen and after almost an hour in the ring Express and Kayleigh just had not enough left to impress the judges for the overall prize.

Despite this set back the result was really impressive and a great credit to Kayleigh who was keen to make up for earlier disappointments.

This success adds to the impressive list of achievements for the impressive little stallion who has such a good following amongst other competitors.

This is likely to be his last international competition so it was a fitting way to finish.
