Homecoming for Butterby Nutmeg

Butterby Nutmeg a three year old chestnut filly was recently re-united with the home farm when she was bought back from her owners who have changed direction with their ponies.

In keeping with the policy of trying to ensure that Butterby Shetland Ponies go to good homes and lead useful lives the purchasers of Butterby Nutmeg got in touch to see if Nutmeg could be returned to Croxdale with a view to finding her a new home.

A visit to Northumberland saw Nutmeg in the trailer and returned to Croxdale to await some more showing experience and hopefully a new home for new adventures.

This pony will do well in the show ring given the correct attention.  Her former owners had kept her very well and it was not hard to decide to 'repatriate' her as they were concentrating on larger ponies.

The future looks good for her.
