Ponies For Sale
Butterby Shetlands have been bred for particular features which we believe are present in the foals and young stock that are available for sale.
Many of our ponies have gone on to be successfully shown by their new owners.
We are firmly committed to ensuring that the potential owners have the knowledge, skills and understanding as well as the interest and commitment to provide a caring home for our ponies.
We encourage potential owners to make full enquiries about any stock that is offered for sale. We pride ourselves on providing honest answers to the questions raised.
We want to be sure that all three parties to the sale are content with the final outcome.

2006 Foals
Foals for Sale
This year, 2007, we have had four foals, of which one filly and three colts are already enjoying the early summer "rain" and may be available for sale! Kracker has sired his first two foals and they are very attractive and we are pleased with these first results.
We were relieved this year not to have had any lost foals and feel concerned for friends around us who have had particular difficulties.
We may have foals for sale in the autumn as Lynda does not like to wean the foals too early.
As some of you will know we are cutting down on our stock and our showing so early enquiries will be necessary for potential purchasers and those wishing to have mares served.
