Butterby Shetlands have been bred for particular features which we believe are present in the foals and young stock that are available for sale.
Many of our ponies have gone on to be successfully shown by their new owners.
We are firmly committed to ensuring that the potential owners have the knowledge, skills and understanding as well as the interest and commitment to provide a caring home for our ponies.
We encourage potential owners to make full enquiries about any stock that is offered for sale. We pride ourselves on providing honest answers to the questions raised.
We want to be sure that all three parties to the sale are content with the final outcome.

2009 - Remaining Ponies
After a successful year in the show ring a total of eight ponies were sold. Our policy of weaning in January and February has left us with three ponies to sell from last year and six foals from 2009, (once weaned) of which there are three fillies and three colts of various colours including skewbald and chestnut and bay.
